Good tile work is layout work. Before a single tile is set we plan the pattern, centre the layout, check the substrate is flat and sound, and only then start installing. That is how you avoid slivers at the walls, lippage between tiles and grout lines that wander.

Tile Installation — common questions
Do you waterproof showers?
Yes. A shower is a wet area, and we prepare and waterproof the substrate before tiling. Skipping that step is the most common reason showers fail.
Can you tile over existing tile?
Sometimes, if the existing tile is sound, flat and the height difference works. In most cases removing the old tile gives a better result, and we will explain both options.
How long before I can use the shower?
Grout and adhesive need time to cure. We will give you a clear timeframe — usually a couple of days — before the shower or floor should be used.
